What we store. (Almost nothing.)
Last updated: April 17, 2026
Summary
Inforis is a one-way broadcaster. It posts public market information to a Discord channel you choose. It does not read your server’s messages, track members, build profiles, run ads, or share anything with third parties. There is no user account to create and no personal information to provide.
What Inforis does NOT collect
- Your messages or message history.
- Your server’s member list, roles, or activity.
- Voice, DMs, attachments, or reactions.
- Your IP address, device identifiers, or location.
- Any information about individual users, visitors to the website, or anyone in your server.
- Analytics or tracking data on the aiah.us/inforis website.
What Inforis must know to operate
To post messages where you want them, the bot stores a minimal configuration record, and nothing else:
- Server (guild) ID — so Discord knows where to post.
- Target channel ID — the specific channel you configured.
- Language preference — English, Chinese, or both.
These identifiers are not personal information. They are assigned by Discord and are necessary for the bot to function. They are not shared with anyone.
Permissions the bot requests
When you invite Inforis, Discord will ask for a standard permission scope that allows the bot to send messages, embed links, attach files, and read message history in the channel you point it at so it can avoid posting duplicates. It does not use these permissions to read human conversations.
Data retention
Operational configuration is retained for as long as the bot remains in your server. When you remove Inforis from your server, the associated configuration record is deleted during routine maintenance.
Third parties
Inforis runs on standard cloud hosting and uses third-party news and market-data providers to source public information. No server data, user data, or message content leaves the bot to any third party. The only outbound traffic tied to your server is the message posted into the channel you selected.
Children
Inforis is intended for adult users of Discord who are bound by Discord’s own terms. It is not directed at children and collects no information from any user directly.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes materially, the “Last updated” date above will be revised. Continued use of the bot after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated notice.
